[TeX] First paragraph no indented?

Hi all,

Maybe it's a custom in English paper, but in Chinese, I think the
first paragraph should be indented as others.

I tried \indent{......}, but it doesn't make any difference. So anyone
can tell me how to indent the first paragraph as well?
