Welcome to the Chinese TeX Society!
The Chinese TeX Society is a leading TeX organization in China. We are dedicated to popularization in China; we also conduct research and development in all areas related to TeX. You can find all kinds of resources here.
To have full access to these resources, we recommend that you join the CTeX Society. CTeX is a non-profit organization, and becoming a general member is as easy as registering on our online forum (http://bbs.ctex.org).
If you want to contribute to CTeX, we welcome that you obtain affiliated membership. To become an affiliated member, you need to fill out and submit the “CTeX Affiliated Member Application Form.” (Questions? Please continue reading our member classification ...)

Anyone who accepts the Terms of Agreement of the CTeX forum (http://bbs.ctex.org) and successfully registers as a member is automatically accepted as a CTeX General Member. A CTeX General Member will have full access to all resources on the CTeX FTP, and may seek for technical support on the online forum.
The development of CTeX depends on our members. We sincerely hope that our members can join us in our work.
CTeX has three technical committees:
If you are interested in one of the fields, you can apply to become an Affiliated Member of the TC. These members will be our great resource, and you will greatly increase our efficiency.
How does it work? For instance, suppose that CTeX decides to organize the translation of The Not So Short Introduction to LaTeX, the Directors of the Documentation Technical Committee will then contact the Affiliated Members, and together they will complete the project in an efficient manner.
Honorary Membership is awarded to members who make substantial contribution to CTeX and are particularly deserving. No nomination is required, and the membership, once awarded by the Board of Directors, is permanent. Current permanent Honorary Members of CTeX are the father of CCT, Linbo Zhang (张林波), the creator of Tianyuan typesetting system, Zhijie Chen (陈志杰), and the inventor of the TeXfriend Suite, Wenchang Sun (孙文昌).
